Poseidon Design Systems Joins Synopsys in-Sync Program
SAN JOSE, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—June 10, 2005—
Poseidon Design Systems today announced that it is a
member of the Synopsys(R) in-Sync(R) Program, ensuring smooth
interoperability between Poseidon's Triton tool suite and the Synopsys
synthesis and verification tool suites.
"Through the in-Sync interoperability program, Synopsys works with
EDA vendors such as Poseidon Design Systems, to identify and implement
optimal joint flows that maximize the productivity of our customers,"
said Karen Bartleson, director of interoperability at Synopsys, Inc.
The Triton Tools environment augments existing design flows to
optimize the performance, power, and cost of processor-based
architectures. Two tools comprise the Triton tool suite: Triton Tuner
and Triton Builder. Triton Tuner gives ASIC and FPGA designers the
ability to rapidly evaluate their architectures much earlier in the
design effort, thus uncovering performance bottlenecks and eliminating
costly architectural rework later in the project. Triton Builder
enables designers to rapidly and predictability partition their
hardware and software, adding sophisticated hardware acceleration
modules in RTL, to accelerate algorithmic computation.
"Poseidon's relationship with Synopsys has been symbiotic from the
beginning, both in terms of our technology and our business goals,"
said Ravi Janak, president and CEO of Poseidon. "We share a common
mission with Synopsys to enhance designer productivity and speed time
to market, and we are therefore quite pleased to be a member of the
in-Sync Partners Program."
